# Maintainers Compatibility



Compatibility note: this old `docs/MAINTAINERS.md` source path is kept so copied GitHub links from earlier package and HexDocs references still land somewhere useful. The current canonical maintainer guide is [`guides/maintainers.md`](../guides/maintainers.md).



Use `guides/maintainers.md` for maintained CI topology, release-preview proof, docs maintenance, release recovery, warning ratchet commands, installer contract proof, and dev-only inspection surface guidance.



This page is a compatibility source stub only. Do not treat it as the ExDoc canonical source or add it to ExDoc extras; the canonical guide ladder lives under `guides/`.
