# Code of Conduct

## Our pledge

Everyone participating in this project — issues, reviews, code,
documentation, or any other channel — is expected to keep the
discussion technical, honest, and civil. We value correctness that can
be verified over assertion, and we assume good faith.

## Standards

Behavior we expect: technical critique grounded in evidence; verbatim
quotes when reporting tool output; patience with genuine questions;
respect for the verification discipline (a green you never saw red
proves nothing).

Behavior we do not accept: harassment or personal attacks of any
kind; deliberately misleading claims about the protocol or its
evidence; doxxing; unwelcome sexual attention; sustaining off-topic
disruption.

## Enforcement

Report conduct issues to the maintainer (the steward's IPR statement
names the current maintainer). Reports are handled confidentially.
Confirmed violations lead to warnings, temporary bans, or permanent
exclusion from the project's channels, at the maintainer's judgement,
with the severity proportionate to the offense.

## Scope

This conduct policy applies wherever the project is discussed under
its own roof (this repository's issues and reviews, and any
project-run channel). It does not extend jurisdiction over unrelated
venues; standard venue rules apply there.
